The bindable quote labels feature indicates whether the rate quoted in the Terminal can be bound as is or if it may require additional questions after bridging to the carrier portal. If an agent is able to immediately bind the quote for the rate shown, it will have a green "bindable quote" label. If a rate potentially requires additional questions, it will have a gray "rate indication" label. These label distinctions between both potential outcomes are available for admitted carriers via labels on the quote card in the Terminal.
CNA joins the list of select carriers in the Terminal that are eligible to quote multi-location for business owner’s policies (BOP).
RT Specialty, a leading wholesale distributor of commercial E&S products and services, is now available in the Terminal carrier panel. Directly appointed agents can quote monoline general liability, monoline property, and a package consisting of general liability and commercial property.
Berkley Management Protection’s employment practices liability, crime, and directors & officers products are now available to quote directly in the Terminal, joining professional liability and cyber in the carrier panel.
Sub-appointments now available (if domiciled in select states including NY, NJ, FL, and more) with Utica First to fill appetite gaps, especially for artisan contractors in need of general liability (GL) & umbrella (available as a policy add-on) insurance. Westfield commercial insurance offers sub-appointments through Bold Penguin. Westfield offers coverage up to $4 million in limits, and specializes in contracting, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, and retail trade and services. Pathpoint, an E&S wholesale distributor on the Terminal, has updated its appetite to include 1,300 manufacturing class codes, adding additional value to agents serving manufacturing customers. Additionally, their new appetite also covers over 450 products in the beauty, beverages, candles, clothing, cosmetics, dental, food, leather/artificial goods, skincare, and shoes industries.
biBERK professional liability coverage is now eligible for dentist offices & dental labs, including periodontists & exodontists (not orthodontists). Ten new classes were added for BOP & GL. WC is no longer eligible in NY for new business in all industries. Carpentry and concrete/masonry construction sub-industries will not be eligible in FL or WI for new business.
